Mercedes Benz - 2000

This architectural work is located in the Prolongation of Paseo Montejo, the main avenue of the city of Merida, Yucatan. It is a car dealership that basically consists of three parts: workshop, showroom and offices. The land is small for the architectural program that was required, so I conceived the project on three floors. At street level I located the new car showroom; on the upper floor, as a mezzanine, the offices, which balcony at the double height of the showroom; and finally, the workshop, in a basement that is naturally ventilated and illuminated through the combination of lattices with the triple height that unifies all the spaces. The materials I used in the structures were concrete for the basement and steel for the offices and showroom. Architect: Alejandro Medina
